A post-doctoral position is available at the Center for Nanotechnology Innovation (CNI) in Pisa within the “2D Materials Engineering” Research Line http://www.iit.it/research/lines/2d-materials-engineering under the supervision of Dr. Camilla Coletti.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong background in fabrication of optoelectronic devices with 2D materials. The candidate to this position will work in the field of graphene and 2D heterostructures for the development of multifunctional optoelectronic devices whose physics and mechanics are accessible either on bulk or soft substrates. The 2D materials the candidate will mostly work with are graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) grown via chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
The focus of the project will be on devising and fabricating optoelectronic devices with van der Waals heterostructures keeping a scalable approach.
Eligible applicants are required to have a PhD in Materials Science, Physics or Electrical Engineering. We value scientists who can interact effectively with an interdisciplinary team, have a high degree of independence and take accountability for their project.
The successful candidate will be offered an internationally competitive salary commensurate to qualifications and experience.
The closing date for applications is November 22nd and applications, including CV and names of 2 referees, should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com quoting “Post doc position on 2D optoelectronic devices CB 73822” in the subject line.
