The Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications Research Line led by Dr. Teresa Pellegrino at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia is looking for a student holding a M. Sc.in materials science, chemistry or physics to develop a project focused on the synthesis, characterization, and biomedical application of high-quality colloidal nanocrystals to be used in Magnetic Hyperthermia Therapy. Knowledge in magnetism of nanoparticles is welcome and high interest for the research topic is required.
Main tasks and responsibilities of the successful candidate will be:
