IIT has established a collaboration with the Università della Calabria and cofinances 1 scholarship linked to a PhD position available at the Phd Program in Physical, Chemical And Materials Sciences And Technologies organized by Università della Calabria. Research and training activities are jointly conducted within IIT structures and Università della Calabria.

The position offered is linked to the research project with title “"Plasmon-Exciton Interaction in Extremely Anisotropic Metastructures”.

The recipient of the scholarship will develop the project at the Optoelectronics research line, led by its Principal Investigator, Roman Krahne within the IIT headquarters in Genova, and at the Università della Calabria.

The successful candidate will be part of an exciting and international working environment and will work in brand new laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Excellent communication skills in English, as well as ability to interact effectively with members of the research team, are required.
