Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia – IIT is seeking one fellowship position focusing on the metabolomic and proteomic investigation of the changes occurring to human cells exposed to graphene-related materials (GRM).
The successful candidate will play a role in elucidating the molecular changes induced by GRM by means of the top-end bioanalytical platforms available at D3Pharmachemistry, IIT in the framework of the Future & Emerging Technologies flagship project on graphene and other 2d crystals, Graphene Flagship (http://graphene-flagship.eu/) funded by the European Commission with Grant Agreement n. 696656 for the 2013-2023 period.He/She will follow the whole metabolomics/proteomics workflow, from sample preparation to data analysis and scientific reporting. The candidate will contribute to the experimental design and will conduct all the bioanalytical activities required by the Project. Eligible applicants should have a Ph.D. Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related subjects and a strong background in LC-MS/MS-based bioanalytical chemistry field. Excellent English communication skills, creativity and marked enthusiasm for research are mandatory.
The selected candidate will join the Bioanalytical Chemistry Lab of D3Pharmachemistry located in Genova.
Salary will be in line with international standards.
