The Dynamic Legged System Lab (DLS lab) of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), (web: http://dls.iit.it), is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious postdoctoral researcher to conduct studies on machine learning techniques applied to legged systems and focused on real-world applications. The DLS lab conducts world-leading research and development of legged robots for challenging environments. The candidate is also expected to (co-) tutor PhD, master and undergrad students in his/her related research area.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in supervised learning, reinforcement learning, and convolutional neural networks with experience on real robots or vision-based systems.
