Along with the development of its new Strategic Plan 2024-2029, IIT has started a Research Data Management program to enable the application of AI (Artificial Intelligence) methods to support traditional experimental research. IIT is investing to ensure that data is AI-ready, in line with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) guiding principles for Research Data Management. Hence, IIT is building new infrastructure and hiring human resources to support the preservation and processing of data in its specific research areas.
Along this line, our action plan is based on three main pillars: (i) infrastructure, (ii) policies and training, and (iii) support.
