About

Lizhou Xu is a PhD student at Advanced Robotics, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics and his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on robotics from Inner Mongolia University of Technology and Harbin University of Technology respectively. He spent several years in robotics research and development in manufacturing companies before he joined IIT. At present, he is working on the control of robotic flexible manipulator, which is a highly coupled, non-minimum phase and inaccurately modeled system.
