From 2006 to 2015 the Foundation has been receiving private and no-profit funding accounting for more than 130 million euros thanks to successful applications to competitive projects and industrial partnerships. Main projects include: Graphene FET Flagship (the European project for the development of graphene and two-dimensional materials), the joint IIT-INAIL rehabilitation, the Nikon Imaging Center, a joint lab in collaboration with Nikon dedicated to ligth microscopy and 16 ERC grants (European Research Council).
