Francesca Gatto is a Support Technician for the Polymers and Biomaterials - Nanobiointeractions & Nanodiagnostics Groups at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genova. She holds a PhD in Materials and Structural Engineering and Nanotechnology and has extensive experience as a postdoctoral researcher at IIT. Her research focused on the immunological characterization of nanoparticles and their impact on biological systems, as well as the development of molecular point-of-care diagnostic tools for applications in safety, traceability, and medicine.
