Biografia

Antonello received the bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Naples 'Federico II' in 2018, after developing his thesis work "TOMO-PIV analysis of circular and chevron impinging jets" at the UNINA Gasdynamics Lab.

He received the master degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2021 with highest honors from University of Naples 'Federico II' , his thesis work "Computational Fluid Dynamics study on Aerial Humanoid Robotics: Aerodynamic analysis of iRonCub robot in flight"  concerned the study of the aerodynamics effects on a flying humanoid robot through CFD simulations.

During master thesis work he joined IIT at the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research line in the iRonCub team developing CFD methods and procedures to study the aerodynamics of iRonCub to provide numerical results useful to develop aerodynamic control algorithms.

He has been part of the iRonCub team at the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research line as a Fellow since September 2021 to October 2022, contributing to the enhancement of CFD simulations and validation through wind tunnel tests.

In November 2022 he started his PhD program (until October 2025) in Applied Aerodynamics for Aerial Robotics in collaboration between Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research lab and Teoretical and Applied Aerodynamic Research Group at Università degli studi di Napoli Federico II .)
