Gustavo Vasconcelos is a researcher specializing in computer vision and deep learning. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), where he developed domain adaptation techniques. His previous work includes the development of 3D image segmentation methods for x-ray tomography at Sirius, the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Lab, and the design of camera noise reduction algorithms at Samsung. Currently, he is a member of Dr. Antonio Ambrosio's Vectorial Nano-imaging group, where his research focuses on computational modeling for the design and optimization of optical metalenses.
