Biografia

Current PhD Student in Neuroscience working in the department of Neuroscience and Brain technologies in IIT (Genoa, Italy) in the research line of Brain Development and Disease leaded by Laura Cancedda.

Previously graduated in Pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Genoa in 2020, with a thesis on the role of microglia activation and rescue through Acetaminophen treatment in Down syndrome mouse model Dp(16).  

Strong neurophysiological and neuropharmacological background. The techniques applied in the laboratory include, among others, molecular biology, cell culture, primary neuronal culture, perfusion, dissection, in vivo transfection of nucleic acids (in uteroelectroporation),in vitro and in vivo pharmacology, immunohistochemistry, and confocal imaging. Also experienced in various mouse models behavioral testing.
