Matteo Mariangeli

I am a PostDoc in IIT in the group of Nanoscopy, headed by Prof. Alberto Diaspro. I'm mainly working with super resolution optical microscopy techniques and atomic force microscopy, also used in a correlative way, to study biophysical properties of biological samples. I'm working especially in characterizing the interation of model biological membranes, viruses and cancer cells with photosensitizers and with protein-based nanostructures funtionalized with photosensitive molecules, for applications in photodynamic therapy.
