Leica SP8-confocal/STED/gSTED/FLIM microscope (Leica Microsystems) equipped with an external sectrometerd and an incubation system for time lapses of living cells. This instrument provides confocal-based super-resolution imaging with more detail than ever with new gated STED. Combining STED and light-gating principles, the Leica TCS SP8 gated STED provides resolution down to 50 nm. It can be used both as a conventional confocal laser scanning microscope or as a STED/gated STED super resolution microscope.
High Sensitivity Shimadzu developed the world’s first UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer with three detectors, consisting of a PMT (photomultiplier tube) for the ultraviolet and visible regions and InGaAs and cooled PbS detectors for the near-infrared region.
Agilent 6000ILM AFM is an high-resolution Atomic Force Microscope integrated with top of the inverted line microscope (ILM, Nikon), permitting investigators to take advantage of the power and utility of both techniques. Compared to other AFMs, the 6000 is distinct because it does not compromise AFM performance, nor does it interfere with the optical microscope’s imaging capabilities. With the AFM in place, the ILM can be operated in all the popular optical imaging modes, including bright field illumination, phase contrast and fluorescence. One of the most interesting applications is in the field of cell biology, permitting to greatly enhance AFM and optical imaging applications under physiological conditions.
The Sutter Instrument P-2000 P-2000 is equipped with special puller bars as well as an optical alignment optimized for small diameter glasses such as optical fibers, and with small diameter fused silica capillary commonly used for the manufacture of nanospray tips and tapered tips.
Neofibo NEOPL-200A allows to cleave to create a perfectly flat endface on the tapered fiber.
